These can be live sessions through WebEx at a scheduled or a pre-recorded video. Librarians encourage instructors to consider these classes closer to the project instead of at the beginning of the semester to ensure students retain the relevant information and are able to use it in their research process. |
Self-guided instructionSelf-Guided Instruction is web-based tutorials that cover various library topics. These are largely designed for first-year students. These are currently found on our Library Resources page but can be embedded in Canvas classes for easy student access. |

Library GuidesLibrary guides (also called LibGuides) are available to help with projects, assignments, and beyond. They are designed to provide quick access to resources that are relevant to your course. These guides can be embedded directly into your Canvas course for ease of access. |

Student FAQsA knowledge base that provides the TSTC community with answers to library and information technology questions, as well as a few commonly asked questions concerning TSTC. Users are encouraged to contact library staff during open hours for in-depth assistance. |
Research consultationsIndividual research consultations with a TSTC librarian are available by appointment to students and faculty. Librarians who are information experts will prepare a one-hour specialized research session to discuss relevant library resources or database search strategies.
