Course eReserves is curated and maintained from a selection of online resources consisting of over 600,000 eBooks; 600 eAudiobooks; 6,000 streaming technical videos, documentaries, and feature films; and 65+ databases and eResources providing access to over 38,000 eSerial titles. You can find out more about the resources at tstc.libguides.com/resources. All of the digital library resources are accessible 24/7 off-campus.
Physical items are currently not eligible for placement on reserve. You may recommend online and digitized items for reserve or general library purchase by completing the materials request form, contacting library staff directly, or through asklibrary@tstc.edu. All digital items can be linked directly on Canvas or included on a course/assignment Guide. Library staff will adjust the type, scope, and number of items made available based on copyright law and fair use guidelines.

eReserves provide links to materials selected from our site licensed databases. eReserve services enable students to access their course materials 24×7 on/off-campus. Freely available articles through the Internet can also be put on e-reserve collection without obtaining copyright clearance and can be accessible outside of TSTC. It will take us 48 hours to have materials ready for students to access.
An eReserve will require copyright permission if it is placed on reserve for more than one semester.

The cost of textbooks is always rising leaving many students unable to afford them even with financial aid. By providing the LRC an extra copy of a text book, we can put it on reserve for in-library student use. This enables your students to keep up with assignments while waiting on financial aid or for their textbooks to arrive from the bookstore.
You can also consider using Open Educational Resources that provide online textbooks as no cost. Visit the links below for more information:
