No matter the format or resource type, the author name should be put in the following format depending on the number of authors used in a work.
Online newspaper/website article
Author, A. A. (Year, Month Date). Title of page. Site name. URL
Online journal or magazine article
Author, A. A. (Year). Title of article. Title of Periodical. volume number(issue number), pages. URL/DOI
Author, A. A. (Year of publication). Title of work: Capital letter for subtitle. Publisher Name. DOI
Complete book
Chapter in a Book
eBooks
Author, A. A. (Year,Month Date). Title of page. Site Name. URL
List the source the work was discussed in your reference list:
Bartlett, T. (2014). 16,000,000 Rooster Teeth Fans Can't Be Wrong. Texas Monthly, 42(12), 46.
Give the secondary source in the reference list. In the text, name the original work and give a citation for the secondary source. For example, if Ankeny's work is cited in Bartlett and you did not read the original work, list the Bartlett reference in the References. In the text, use the following citation:
In Ankey's article (as cited in Bartlett, 2014), ...
