TSTC LRC Bookshare Policy

Students and employees with a valid TSTC ID may borrow 2 books at one time for 21 days from other TSTC campus LRCs.  The BookShare program is reserved for circulating print materials only. Reference, special collections, and audio visual material do not circulate through the BookShare program.

A borrower may request one renewal on the books, unless another patron has requested the material, or the borrower has fines on their account.  The request will be filled once the fines are paid.

If the borrower loses the book, a charge for the replacement cost plus a processing fee will be placed on their library account. If the borrower damages the book, a graduating damage fee scale up to the cost of the book plus a processing fee will be applied.   Library fees will be due by the end of the semester or a block will be placed on the borrower’s account. Borrowers with blocks will not be able to register for classes, obtain transcripts, or graduate until the fines are reconciled.

If you have questions about the BookShare policy, please contact your local librarian or visit our Bookshare Policy page.
