Get Help from Your TSTC Librarians
We have hundreds of thousands of eBooks, articles, and streaming videos available for you to use. There are number of different ways to find information relevant to your assignment. Here are a few starting points:
- Search ONEsearch for text sources (eBooks or articles).
ONEsearch is the library's online catalog. One search can deliver all of the eBooks, articles, open source journals, and physical items available to you as a TSTC student. Please note that physical checkouts are currently limited to Harlingen students only.
- Search our collection of eResources for non text items.
eResources are specialty sites that are more focused on services. Here you will find resources like:- Auto Repair Source which includes step-by-step repair information, diagrams, maintenance schedules, parts, and labor estimates, service bulletins and recalls for thousands of domestic and imported vehicles.
- Adult Core Skills Center helps you conquer developmental coursework through lessons and practice tips for Developmental Math, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, Reading Comprehension, Vocab, Spelling, Writing, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and General Science. TSI and CLEP test preparation exams are also available if you are trying to test out of general education courses.
- Job & Career Accelerator guides you in assessing career alternatives and mastering interviewing skills. Job seekers can access a powerful career and job search tool, allows you to create powerful resumes and find job and internship opportunities.
- Contact library staff!

At Texas State Technical College (TSTC), we care about student success. And to assist our students from the first semester to the last, we offer a variety of support with academic and technical subjects. In addition, the colleges offer computer and study labs to help provide a quiet place to study.
Tutorial services are directed toward student success. We offer opportunities to be partners in the learning environment, with on-going training for peer tutors and tutors with national peer tutoring certification.
